This charming apartment is located on the first floor of the mock-Tudor building overlooking a courtyard and set in communal gardens. The surrounding houses were skilfully developed in mock-Tudor style over a period of three years, but many of the beams, timbers and tiles were taken from other old barns and buildings. The charming seaside village of Rottingdean is between the town of Brighton and Newhaven. In the village high street you will find shops, pubs and tearooms between pretty Victorian cottages. It was in Rottingdean that Rudyard Kipling resided and wrote many of his Just So stories. The village has its own promenade and there are numerous walks to discover being located in the Downs; if you head out South from the village you will see the rolling hills and magnificent scenery of this area. If you prefer a bit more activity then Brighton is only four miles away where you can take a stroll along the prom or wander along the pier. There is a regular bus route to Brighton.
